On October 28, the "300kW Distributed PV Power Generation Project of CYG SUNRI Co., Ltd." (hereinafter referred to as "CYG SUNRI’s PV Project") contracted by CYG ET was successfully connected to the grid for power generation, further supporting CYG SUNRI to build itself into a near-zero carbon demonstration enterprise!

To implement the policies of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on carbon dioxide peaking and carbon neutrality, comprehensively promote low-carbon pilot and demonstration projects, accelerate the construction of pilot areas with near-zero carbon emission, CYG SUNRI, according to the requirements of relevant policies such as “Shenzhen’s Implementation Plan for the Construction of Pilot Areas with Near-zero Carbon Emissions" promulgated by Shenzhen Municipal Government, actively explores development paths with near-zero carbon emission. Based on factors such as its own characteristics, and its development, CYG SUNRI plans to comprehensively utilize various low-carbon technologies, methods and means in the fields of energy and industries. It vigorously promotes the utilization of renewable energy, low-carbon transformation of process flows, application of electric transportation tools, and low-carbon transformation and operation of office space from the aspects of technical route, management system and key projects. In this way, it drives the carbon reduction action in the supply chain, strengthens the scientific management of carbon emissions, enhance employees' awareness of low carbon, and minimizes greenhouse gas emissions. It achieves the goal of "reducing the company’s total emissions of Scope I, Scope II and Scope III by 45% in 2023 over 2020", thus it is successfully included into the list of the first batch of Shenzhen’s pilot projects of near-zero carbon emission areas.

CYG SUNRI’s PV Project is invested by CYG SUNRI and constructed by CYG ET. It is located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, where has long sunshine time, long summer and no winter, and is an area with Class III solar energy resources. Monocrystalline silicon 550Wp PV modules with leading efficiency, four string inverters with multiple MPPT circuits, and Q235B/65μm hot-dip galvanized steel brackets are used for the project. The brackets are installed on the existing concrete roof of the park, with the lowest point of 1.6m and the inclination angle of 6°, ensuring the neat layout of the brackets and PV modules and the efficient power generation of the power station. The successful constructed CYG SUNRI’s PV Project not only provides more than 10% of green power for CYG SUNRI every year, but also further helps CYG SUNRI achieve near-zero carbon emissions.
Suit measures to local conditions and deliver the project with high efficiency and high quality
CYG ET not only made plans and conducted calculations for the construction of CYG SUNRI’s PV Project, but also provided integrated project services such as consultation, survey, design, construction, operation and maintenance based on its professional technical experience in the power industry and the new energy field that is accumulated over the years, as well as grid connection and subsidy application for the project.
Cement piers were poured in place for infrastructure construction. During the construction period, protection measures and safety protection measures were required for the original roof, and materials needed to be dispersed in time to protect the waterproof layer of the original roof. The construction of the project was extremely difficult and the workload was extremely heavy. The project team overcame difficulties with their excellent technologies, completed the construction on site in only 20 days and met the acceptance conditions of grid-connected power generation. Finally, the project was completed, accepted and delivered efficiently in 30 days, with all quality and quantity requirements met.

Conserve energy and reduce emissions, and fully promote the construction of a near-zero carbon enterprise
On September 22, 2020, China announced at the 75th UN General Assembly that "China is committed to hitting peak emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060.” On October 24, 2021, the Working Guidance of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council for Carbon Dioxide Peaking and Carbon Neutrality in Full and Faithful Implementation of the New Development Philosophy clearly required that “to achieve the objectives for carbon dioxide peaking and carbon neutrality, we must follow the principles of exercising nationwide planning, prioritizing conservation, leveraging the strengths of the government and the market, coordinating efforts on the domestic and international fronts, and guarding against risks.” The total installed capacity of CYG SUNRI’s PV Project is 306.9 kW. According to the calculation with the method recognized by the industry[1], it is estimated that about 350,000 kWh of green electric energy will be produced in the first year, thus carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by about 200t every year, effectively helping CYG SUNRI to conserve energy and reduce emissions.

In the context of carbon neutrality and carbon dioxide peaking, CYG SUNRI takes the initiative to carry out carbon reduction business and further its business layout in fields related to carbon neutrality. In April 2021, CYG SUNRI’s headquarters building took the lead in realizing carbon neutrality; In September 2021, CYG SUNRI carried out low-carbon transformation of the headquarters park, and deployed a comprehensive management platform for green smart parks; In January 2022, CYG SUNRI won the awards "National Green Factory" and “Product with Green Design"; In March, 2022, CYG SUNRI launched an SaaS system - Eco Explorer.
