At the conference, Zeng Junqiang, the Deputy Chief Engineer of the Center for Comprehensive Supporting Industry of CYG ET, made a keynote report entitled “Virtual Power Plant Helps Low-Carbon Parks Expand Energy Operations to New Scenarios”. In this report, Zeng Junqiang firstly analyzed the development and prospective trend of virtual power plant under the carbon peak and carbon neutrality policy, and explained the value and advantages of virtual power plant in the operation of low-carbon parks. He proposed for applying the virtual power plant aggregation, optimization and control technology to realize effective integration of energy control and carbon monitoring management following the constant improvement of the electric power market and the carbon market, and for carrying out trading in the electric power market and carbon trading on the basis of reasonable, efficient and comprehensive energy utilization of the parks, eventually achieving operation values.

At the end of the report, Zeng Junqiang introduced in detail the development of CYG ET in the aspect of virtual power plant and the low-carbon park project of CYG SUNRI in Shenzhen. By relying on the rich industrial experience and technical advantages of CYG brand in the energy sector, CYG ET focuses on new energy and new business forms of energy and lays out in PV, charging, storage and microgrid, comprehensive energy distribution and transport, and directional development and operation.

In early 2021, CYG ET started the construction of a carbon neutrality park, with the park of CYG SUNRI in Shenzhen as a carrier. By building rooftop photovoltaic, energy storage and charging facilities, CYG ET developed a multi-energy low-carbon park integrating green power generation, reliable power supply, efficient power storage, intelligent electricity use, low-carbon travel and power trading to give play to the advantages of multi-energy complementation, energy-saving control, carbon monitoring and verification, collaborative optimization, demand response, and CCER carbon trading. The green low-carbon park has become one of the first pilot projects for enterprises with nearly zero carbon emission.

CYG ET has realized a collaborative layout of “source-grid-load” business in the new power system and is able to provide customers with integrated solutions covering five product series, including power generation of new energy, new types of energy storage, comprehensive energy, intelligent power distribution and use, and auxiliary services of the electric power/carbon market.

This conference can foresee the new historical mission of comprehensive energy services for achieving the strategic goal of “carbon peak and carbon neutrality” and developing a new power system focusing on new energy. In the future, CYG ET will continue to charge ahead in the cause of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, promote high-quality development of the comprehensive energy service industry, enable the comprehensive energy service solutions to more efficiently help the development of low-carbon parks, and make active contribution to the fulfilment of the national strategic goal of “carbon peak and carbon neutrality”.
